Staff
The staff at Hillside Christian Church want to make your wedding day very memorable, but most importantly, we wish to create for you a service of worship that will bring blessings and joy to your future life together. Officiating at your wedding will be one of our pastors or clergy associates, Rev. Rodger Kube, Rev. Bob Turpin, Rev. Paul Erickson, Rev. John Brentlinger, Dr. George Campbell, or Rev. Tim Brooks. One of our staff organists or our pianist will lead the music when available, otherwise, a list of other organists will be made available. If you desire, there can be a wedding coordinator assigned to your wedding day to help with logistical issues, seating of the families, and the entrance of the wedding party. Wedding staff also includes custodial care and sound and lighting technicians as needed.

Facilities
At Hillside Christian Church, we have two beautiful spaces for your wedding. Our sanctuary seats over 300 and provides a nice locale for larger services. Our chapel will comfortably seat approximately 60 and creates a more intimate setting for smaller family services. Some of our pastors, and Rev. Brooks, are available to do in-home weddings or services in outdoor locations.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your wedding, you will automatically forfeit $50 of your deposit up to four months prior to the date. If the wedding is canceled less than four months before the scheduled date, you will forfeit all of the $150 deposit.

Where do I begin?
Getting your date on the Calendar

1.  At Hillside, it is not necessary to be a member to schedule a wedding, but we believe the church is a community of people, and thus, we ask that you attend worship twice before your date can be placed on the church calendar. This gives you an opportunity to understand our basic beliefs. We have three worship services on Sunday mornings: 8:00, 9:00 and 10:30.
2.  You will need to fill out a Wedding Information Form with the church office manager and make a $150 deposit. At that time, you will be given the organist's phone number and the name of the pastor who will perform the wedding.
3.  At least three months before the wedding, you will need to schedule the first of three meetings with the presiding pastor, which will include a Pre-Marriage Inventory.
4.  Meet with the organist at least six weeks prior to the wedding to plan your music.
5.  Make sure your wedding party knows the rehearsal and wedding times.
6.  Enjoy the celebration of this special day!
