The Holidays At Hillside...

...are filled with music and meaning, and reminders of God's incarnate love for the world through Jesus!

Special Music Sunday, "Holiday at the Hill"

Join us this Dec. 5th, as we continue the season of Advent in song, and celebrate the anticipation of the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords!

Our Hillside Singers, along with our excellent team of musicians will present the musical worship service at 10:30 am. Under the direction of Darin Parker, "Repeat the Sounding Joy" will certainly bring inspiration this season of hope, peace, joy and love.
Our Advent and Christmas services always inspire and comfort those who attend, as well as help us celebrate the birth of God's love made known to the world through Jesus. Join us this season, as we anticipate Jesus' birth.

Holiday at the Hill is our annual musical service, that celebrates the season of Advent. We join in song and voice to hear ancient prophecy, present promise, and to anticipate future hope of God's love born anew in our lives through the Christ-child Jesus.

Blue Christmas is an opportunity for anyone who feels grief or sadness during the holidays to come to a safe space to mourn, remember and find comfort. Through readings of assurance, prayer and song, we gather to offer our trust in God, share support with one another, and experiences God's presence in times of struggle.

"Close to Home" is a 5-week worship emphasis & sermon series that reminds us of ways to make the season more meaningful. As we learn how to anticipate and welcome the incarnate Lord, we begin to encounter the heart of Jesus at Christmas, and beyond.

Our Children's Program features the nativity story told in unique and kid-friendly ways, by children from Hillside. "The Christmas Evening News Hour" - a modern take on the gospel stories invites children into the birth narrative - is a recorded program that streams online for 2021.

Christmas Eve service is at 6 pm in the sanctuary. The service will be a welcome place for families and adults to come and welcome the newborn Jesus. Through carols and candles, Christmas Eve at Hillside is always a special way to worship God with your family, and welcome the Christ-Child anew.
