The Bible Teaches Us How To Pray. 

When we pray to God, we open our hearts to receive God's wisdom, kindness and grace. In the bible, God's people pray during times of struggle and times of joy. Many of the Psalms are prayers, and Christians have used them for daily devotional life for centuries. 
Consider Psalm 23, or Psalm 121 as a prayer for your life. 

Jesus also instructs people how to pray. He says it's good to pray in private, so that you are not tempted to pray in vain. Find the story of Jesus teaching his followers how to pray in Matthew 6:5-15.

The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. AMEN.
